Directed by J. M. Stelly and Co-Directed and Co-Produced by Chris Trainor of Lab Productions, “Conjure” was the second music video for super group DOWN the duo created. This time Stelly used inspirations from his story THE DEMONOLOGIST to create the video, which would go on to become a feature film!
Inspired by the dark horror films of the seventies, the music video for “Conjure” goes deep into the occult and lore of human sacrifice, possession, and corruption. The video has a unique 16mm look and had a massive production value added by the video being shot primarily at the world famous 13TH GATE HAUNTED HOUSE in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This 1970’s trip into the horrific world of the occult is truly unique and remains one of Stelly’s favorite projects.
